Jim and I ,along with our friends, have been going to the Rodgers forever. I think we were the first snowmobilers to go there as a group(even before the Vast trail went through their field). The minute we met Nancy and Jim we felt like family. The place is so large all our vehicles and trailers fit in the big farm yard. The food is so good we call it Thanksgiving every day! Nancy is such a great cook and also loves sharing her recipes with us. When we all come in from a day on the trails and the aromas meet us as we open the door " we know we are home"
All of us enjoy the wood furnace to warm us up and also great to dry all our snowmobile clothes.
It is a little place called heaven. Nancy and Jim are so honest about the weather conditions.

AFter cycling more than 60 miles to get here we were greeted by two very friendly hosts. Nancy had prepared dinner which was a veritable feast. Both she and her husband sat and had the meal with us so it felt like visiting old friends. They were so interested in us, so informative about the area and their lives as farmers. Room was so comfy, slept like a baby. Breakfast another feast to get us on the road for another long day of cycling. I would recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to this area. Long way off the beaten track if you are on a bicycle but the roads into their farm were lovely.

Ever since we discovered "the farm" on a trip to Vermont 21 years ago, we have made sure to return every year! Nancy and Jim are such wonderful, warm and friendly hosts!! The family style meals are such a treat! "The farm", as we call it, is one of the most beautiful places on earth!! The spectacular views, the walk around the block, the lakes nearby, the tranquility and great snowshoeing make the Rodgers Country Inn one of our favorite places to visit!!!!

We have been enjoying Rodgers Inn hospitality for more than 20 years. It's the perfect peacful getaway in any season of the year. Friendly people, delicious home-cooking and nearby outdoor recreational and cultural options. We always love our 3.5 mile walk "around the block".

Room Tip: We love staying in the farm house, but occasionally opt for the old cottage by the pond for longer, quiet visits.

Nancy and Jim Rodgers make you feel like you are family, like their home is your home and Nancy's food is the best. The surroundings are ever so peaceful and you feel like that is the best way to live life. We have visited many times over the years and will keep going to visit our home away from home.
