“A Wonderful Inn!”
Reviewed August 14, 2008

We loved the Deerhill Inn.
This was our second stay here; we were here last year.
This place has everything you would want in a topnotch inn.
The guys who run it think of every little detail for your comfort.
The place is spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with artwork, books and antiques. The grounds make you want to take pictures - wonderful plantings, flowers, etc.
And the food is marvelous! Michael's cooking is exceptional. We looked forward to each day's breakfast, and our dinner was equally good.
This place is highly recommended.

This inn is a treasure! My husband and I have stayed at the Deerhill Inn the first weekend in August for several years while we go to the concerts at Marlboro. It is always delightful. The rooms are comfortable and attractive, the grounds are beautiful, meals are exquisite and Michael and Stan are about the best hosts I've ever encountered. Don't hesitate.

We spent a wonderful 4 night weekend at The Deerhill Inn this summer. The inn is absolutely beautiful, extremely romantic rooms. The staff is gracious and attentive --- and the food --- the food is incredible. Every morning we had delicious country breakfasts, piping hot coffee and incredible homemade muffins. The most memorable part of the weekend, however, was an outdoor dinner for 20 under the stars that reminded me of Under the Tuscan Sun. The 5 course dinner, with 4 wines and coffee was mouth watering - one of the best dining experiences of my life.

Thank you to Michael (the chef) and Stan (the Innkeeper) for a weekend to always remember. We will return again, soon !

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Deerhill Inn over the July 4th weekend. The breakfasts were hearty. We stayed for dinner one night and were impressed by the wine selections that accompanied the well made meals.
The beds were very comfortable and the accomodations were roomy and quiet.
We came upon the Deerhill Inn after we tried to make reservations at the Four Seasons Inn in West Dover (where we had stayed a number of times), but unfortunately it closed. This inn is walking distance from the Four Seasons Inn.

This inn was a delightful surprise. Superior food, appealing decor and a setting rich in flowers, beautiful mountain views, cool breezes and peaceful quiet. Common rooms were lovely and the service very accomodating. The chef brings a very creative and imaginative menu for every dinner and even the plates are beautiful. The breakfasts that are included are equally special with plates often garnished with a fresh flower. The innkeepers are very accessible and helpful without being intrusive. A very romantic getaway.

This was our third time visiting the Deerhill Inn. We keep coming back for the food and the peaceful setting - we might be addicts :-)! The other two times that we have visited the propery it was during ski seaon, as it is so close to Mt. Snow. This was our first time coming here in the summer. We both decided that we preferred summertime at the Deerhill Inn!!! The pool and the lush landscaping and gardens are so peaceful and relaxing. Chef Michael is such an artist with his cuisine, and both Stan and Michael do a superb job of pairing wines with the current menu. They strive to provide their guests with a true Vermont experience, using local products whenever they can, and what is in season. The staff here truly go out of their way to make you feel at home (Hi Jeannette!). Their motto is "relearn to relax", and everytime we visit we go home with our souls (and stomachs!) rejuvenated and refreshed! ps... michael's breakfasts are AMAZING! The cottage cheese pancakes a must have!
