As you drive along Route 100 in West Dover, Vermont your eyes are drawn to a big black thing at the edge of a restaurant parking lot. You notice it even before the name of the place. What is it?? A Smoker!! Not something you would expect in Vermont!
And how do you decide what to have that has been smoking all day? We decided to get the "Three meat" plate with a choice of three of the following: pulled pork, sausages, ribs, chicken or brisket. Get ready! It's spicy compared to most New England fare, but certainly worth the try. And they leave a carafe of soda or water on the table to help those who use no mustard on their hot dogs!.Everything was delicious and you feel like you are visiting a piece of history as you examine the artifacts surrounding the fireplace.
