Glenda, our charming host and innkeeper, went out of her way to accommodate my 20 something daughter and me when we skipped out for a couple of ski days. For virtually the same price that we would have gotten if we had shared a room, Glenda set us up in a room and a half - giving my daughter the privacy she desired in a cute little room next to mine that had everything she needed. Rooms are functional, clean, quiet and comfortable. The small bathroom was clean and well stocked with simple amenities.
After skiing we relaxed around a well tended fire chatting with Glenda and some fellow skiers. My guess is that this place attracts a warm convivial crowd - it was quite pleasant.
Our included hot breakfast was delicious - amazing scones - and plentiful.
With the ski and stay rates the Inn at Mt Snow has got to be the most affordable way to go short of pitching a tent - and a lot warmer in every way.

Room Tip: Just tell Glenda what you need - she's amazing. If you want a great view of the mountain ask fo...

My husband and I just got back from a relaxing weekend at the Inn. We felt like we were in our own home except I didn't have to cook breakfast! Everything was clean and the staff was great. The room was extremely comfortable and it was nice having the fireplace. Breakfast was perfect...hot if you want or simple oatmeal/cereals available. One morning I just stayed in and hung out by the fire and that was great. Glenda really makes the guests feel like family and we can't wait to return with our family!

We just returned from our first (but not last) stay at the Inn at Mt. Snow. We were looking for a convenient place to stay where we could jump on the free shuttle to Mt Snow. Glenda, the innkeeper, sets a friendly tone and all the other guests were relaxed and friendly. The common rooms are comfortable and inviting, including a nice billiard room, and there's always a fire in the big fireplace. Our room was very basic (a standard room, not on the side of the hall with views of the mountain) with older furnishings, including a mattress that needed to be retired, but clean. The friendliness of the place, the comfort of the common rooms, a good breakfast and convenient location make it worthwhile. When we go back, we will ask for a better room with a mountain view.

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view room and more than a "standard room" if you plan to spend any time...

Quote from my teenaged daughter as we drove away after our 5 day stay, "Glenda is my new BFF!" Enough said. This place delivers on all the important points: comfy beds, warm fire, close to the slopes, nice people, great food, all around relaxing experience. My two teenaged girls can't wait to go back. You really feel like you are staying with close friends, except that they wait on you hand and foot. Glenda and staff go out of their way to meet and exceed all your expectations. We will be back!

Room Tip: Room 9 has spectacular views of the mountain with a jetted tub and fireplace! Our teenagers were to...

Stayed here with a friend to ski Mount Snow for two days and then we planned to move to Stratton and ski there for two days. Glenda provided us with such a wonderful time that we decided to stay and drive to Stratton. The cleanliness of the rooms, coziness of the fire and the delicious breakfast can't be beat! If you are coming to the area, this is the only place you want to stay. I promise you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Room 1 was awesome!!! If traveling with a friend, this room provides a separate sleep area and bath...

Location: It is walking distance to Mt. Snow. You can't beat the location.

Innkeepers: Glenda and her crew are so pleasant, friendly, and accommodating.

Accommodation: For $89/day, you can't beat it (single double bed with private bath). The place is so cozy, warm, and relaxing. The fireplace at the center of the living room just invites you in. It fills the room with warmth embrace .. corny but true. My room is simple ... nuts and bolts but clean, warm, and relaxing.

Breakfast: It's more than just a continental breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, home fries, yogurt, fruits, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, milk, bagels, and more. Oh, we had these blueberry scones straight from the oven ... it's so freaking delicious.

What more can you ask?

Keep it up guys! We will come back again Glenda!

After starting off at a hotel nearby and being completely unsatisfied, Glenda welcomed us with open arms and a warm fire. We were so pleased with the coziness and warmth and the overall atmosphere is exactly what we pictured when we originally planned our ski trip to Vermont. We had a sitting area and fireplace in our room and comfortable bed with a warm down comforter. Best of all was the great breakfast every morning and sitting in front of the fire with a glass of wine at night. Although we have children, they were not with us, but there were other families with children that seemed to enjoy playing in the game room and the freedom of being able to wander a little in the safety of the beautiful inn.
It was the perfect weekend getaway and a romantic place to get engaged! We will definitely be back to visit Glenda at the Inn! Hopefully the next trip, we can make some more lasting memories!!
