“Great menu and fun atmosphere!”

Well worth a stop after skiing. The food was excellent and the choices of beer were reasonable. A nice choice between steak, seafood and burgers.

“Dead Flowers”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

Live music and decent food highlight this restaurant on the road to Mount Snow. We did really well with the fish and chips (it was awesome as were the onion rings). There was live music, a 60/70s folk singer who said his wife hated three songs, one of which was Dead Flowers. The service was good. I'm a little torn between a 3 and 4 for this place. The menu is a little limited but the room is nice and there is good comfort food.

“Yum!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

We arrived late in Vermont and headed over to 1846 on the recommendation of the inn we were staying at. Even though it was late, they seated us promptly and didn't try to rush our dinner. The food was AMAZING! Staff was very friendly too. There was live music which, normally, I'm not a fan of, but the guy singing and playing guitar was very good. Great place to eat when you're in the area!

The food is good here, and they even gave us a free beer because they couldn't seat us in the dining room right away.

The Chef is excellent. We had great food every meal and the best steak tips I have ever had.
Complimentary homemade pumpkin bread at breakfast was a nice surprise!
