You will get to watch fresh cider being made using an old fashioned press. It is really interesting to see the entire process. Best of all you get free samples of fresh cider.
There is a huge gift shop with a wide variety of items to purchase. Be sure to try a cider doughnut when you get to the register.

Stopping here is worth it just to sample the fresh cider being made. Nothing beats the taste of fresh apple cider and they do it right here! It is also very fun to watch them in action pressing the cider right in front of you. The little ones also get a kick out of this. They also have a gift shop which sells tons of Vermont products including maple syrup, baked goods, and freshly made donuts!

This place has expanded to the point where it has lost its charm. I recommend watching them press the apples. The cider was good. The donuts were not as good as I remembered and were quite dry.

We stop here at Cold Hollow Cider Mill every fall when we visit the Waterbury, VT area. There are samples of cider, dips, etc. Also, there are many souvenirs and interesting things to buy. In addition there are cider donuts, apple pie slices and too many other items to mention. Nice people, great place.

We came with Collette Tours in October 2018. The owner greeted our bus and took us in the back way. Apples were being pressed and they had a tasting room to try the cider freshly made. Yummmmmm! Their cider donuts were delicious.
The gift store has everything. Shipped home tons of maple syrup and other neat items. They even have honey comb with an active bee hive in the store. Picked up some wonderful gifts. They have everything!
When I returned home the packages arrived and the honey comb container had chipped and I called the store just to let them know and wo asking in 2 days I received a replacement one! Talk about customer service! One of my favorite places in New England!

Such an awesome experience! It is always busy but they do a great job of getting to you quickly. You can watch cider being made and choose from all different types of gifts and souvenirs.

Cider donuts and hot apple cider is what dreams are made of!

A fun wander through the store, plus a demonstration of cider production (and sample). The building and grounds are very pretty.

Cold Hollow Cider Mill was AMAZING!! My husband and I stopped here in October 2018. You can purchase anything imaginable here that has to do with syrup or apples. As you make your way to the back of the building there is a room where you can watch how the apple cider is pressed. You can even sample a cup of fresh apple cider. The best purchase was the hot, apple cider donut. It was soft, with a little crunch on the outside. It was delicious! Also, available were dog cookies made from the apple pomace. My pup loved them! We enjoyed this place so much we stopped by three times in our week long stay! Definitely recommend. A must visit.

We found the cider was good but employee serving/cashier was rude and made us feel unwelcome. We found the donuts on the small side and not as advertised. Asked if we could get some cinnamon and sugar donuts and received a rude reply saying "we don't put it on our donuts".

Sorry you weren't thrilled with your visit. While we do get several requests for cinnamon and sugar covered donuts we simply wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand of them!
