Not much on the outside to grab your attention, but the breakfast was great. The lunch choices also sounded good, but we were looking for a late breakfast. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you, nothing fancy, just good food.

“If your grandmother ran a diner.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We had a great breakfast at this no-nonsense restaurant. They have many baked goods, and a long list of traditional breakfast items. The food was fresh, and not fussed with. Order at the counter and they bring it out. When we were there, the regulars were chatting as their friends came and went. The eggs were perfect, the bacon was thick and cooked just right. One the side were potatoes, and thick well buttered bread. YUM! Bus your own plate when you're done.

“Just Ask the Locals”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

FORGET THIS PLACE...unless you want excellent quality food, pleasant atmosphere, and reasonable prices. We often ask locals, "Where do the local folks eat when they want a nice, reasonably priced meal?" Works almost every time. It gets you past the places that thrive on tourists and promotions and gets you into the "downhome" places where the food and human kindness rule. This place was a perfect example. Had a wonderful breakfast, met some colorful locals, had good conversation with the employees, and left wanting to return. Three thumbs up!

“Local favorite”

Clearly a favorite of the locals and conveniently located right across the street from the Green Mtn coffee visitors center, we really enjoyed our lunch/breakfast and the friendly folks running the cafe.

We go there twice a month and if we lived closer it would be at least weekly. Fantastic sandwiches. Small but cozy.
