“Great Beer Menu, OK Food”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

I was here with my girlfriend and a friend in September. We had spent the afternoon at a beerfest nearby and decided to eat dinner here. The place got crowded quickly, but the service didn't suffer. The beer menu is great for local craft beers and the food was OK, but not exceptional. It's a fun place to drink and I will stop here again when I'm in the area.

“Good eats, good brews”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We have become semi-regulars at prohibition pig because the food is local, fresh, and great as is the service (thanks to Kate, Mike and Co.). It also doesn't hurt that they have one of the best beer selections around. Keep on doing what you're doing!

“Great food and great selection of beer!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Great food and great beer/booze selection. We came for lunch and had the Pork Rinds, GLT (delicious!), and the house burger in addition to drinks. The Bloody Mary in itself is practically a meal! Friendly staff and great place to meet people. Love the decor. There is a great beer stained glass window above the back door - we want that!

Will definitely revisit whenever we're in Waterbury!

“mmmm beer”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Went this past friday night on MLK weekend with wife and two young kids. Server told us it woudl be about 45 minute wait, was busy but not mobbed so we said we will get drink at bar and hope it was sooner. He got us about 15 minutes later. Hill Farmstead and heady toppers, beer list is amazing. Had the belly burger, chicken bisquits, kids had hotdogs and fries, real hotdog, wife had soup special. Service was good, food and beer good. Woudl give 5 but a dollar too pricey. will be back every time im in waterbury.

“Pro Pig burger rocks”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

We came here with a big group and they graciously accommodated us. I had the chopped bbq pork sandwich which was outstanding in its mix of smokiness, saltiness and acidity thanks to the coleslaw. Others in our group had the Pro Pig burger and raved about it. Portions are not super large for the burgers or sandwiches, so some people might be happier ordering two.
