Owner description: For all the euphoric flavors you can't get enough of – especially the ones you can't get in ordinary stores – nobody scoops Ben & Jerry's better than we do at our scoop shops.

Arrived there earlier this week, easy to find on the map, visited on a Sunday so couldn't witness the ice cream production during the tour, but can see the plant and sat through a nice history lesson in a movie. The tour gal was very knowledgeable and provided information with clarity and substance. Entertaining and lots of moo-ving jokes :-) Got a sampling of the day's flavor and was amazed at the line of people just outside. Got the White Russian shake and the New York chocolate fudge in a chocolate dipped cone with M&M toppings -- oy veyz mir the calories :-)

I was very excited to visit this factory, as an ice cream lover. I was not disappointed. Our tour guide was very friendly and entertaining - he provided a lot of random ice cream information and answered all our questions happily. I loved hearing the history of how Ben and Jerry's started since I didn't know. The ice cream sample at the end was enjoyable, as was the store. I got my dad the cow bowl with a shovel and he was really happy when I gave it to him. Well worth the stop - allow about an hour for this one.

Don't expect to learn anything spectacular from tour apart from the "stay true to your principles and follow you dreams" which were the driving motto fueling the founders passion. The tour is informative, especially the biographical moooovie... but in the end, the true verdict comes from the ice cream... and B&J make better than average ice cream!!! A sampl is included with the tour but the real kick is to buy your favorite flavor at the shop,

A funny graveyard of "deceased flavor" is a fun stop outside the factory.

Overall not a must-see, but something worth a visit too!

Allow 45-60 minutes for an ice-cream, walk through the graveyard of flavours past (corny but fun), and maybe a factory tour.

Why was peanut butter and jelly rejected as an ice cream flavour? And are gold scoopers better performers under pressure?

Tasting and tours open 7 days, but the factory is usually not operating on Saturday or Sunday, so if you want a closer look at things come on a week-day.

Only two miles off the interstate, and plenty of parking.

Start dreaming of your favourite flavour now.

This place is awesome, at first your a little hesitant paying to go on an ice cream tour but it was worth the money and you get a sweet surprise at the end. The tour guide was a little wonka-ish but that is what makes the experience
