So going on a Thursday in March is the perfect time to go there were very few people and we walked in and got right in on a tour that was just starting. Its a great story how Ben and Jerry's got started and all the work they do locally for the community as well as globally. You learn all about this on your tour. You start off with a film that gives you the history of the beginnings and what they are doing now. Afther that you proceed to viewing windows to look in at production. Our guide was very personable and enthusiastic and really seemed to enjoy his job. He answered all questions that were asked and gave out tons of information. After that you go into a tasting room and have some ice cream. I would definitely recommend stopping by especially if you love ice cream!!! BTW they have all the flavors available to purchase in a cup or cone (waffle or sugar).
