This is a splendid bed & breakfast run by a lovely English couple. The Sugartree Inn was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious and abundant. Special treats like fresh baked cookies in the afternoon were a treat.
We recommend the Inn without reservation and look forward to visiting again next year.

The stay at Sugartree Inn was excellent, Maxine and Graham cannot be more helpful. The atmosphere was like being at home for christmas. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the beds were out of this world by far the most comfortable bed I slept in USA

The breakfast was awesome and took the best part of the day to burn off.

A really good Italian restarant is nearby, as was a small deli.
My only regret was that we should have stayed a bit longer.

All in all my stay here was excellent.

We recently stayed here for three FABULOUS nights! We hated to leave! The English hosts, Graham and Maxine, are super nice, interesting, smart, gracious, friendly, helpful, professional, and wonderful! Maxine is a dynamite cook who prepared the most delicious breakfasts - one may select 3 different courses the night before, and then the food is prepared to order the next morning. The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable - especially the bed!! The air conditioning is fine, the bathtub /shower is great; and it is SUPER QUIET and safe, best of all. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, too. The area is GORGEOUS, with much to do and see!!!!! The nearby restaurants are very good, too: you must go to Terra Rossa, The Common Man, and The Pitcher Inn Restaurant). We strongly recommend that anyone ought to stay here for a most civilized rest. We are returning here for sure in 2009!! Graham and Maxine are the best hoteliers we have ever met, in many decades of international travel!! (Plus, ask Graham to discuss the Beatles with you, as he is a world renowned expert!)

The Sugartree Inn has all the top qualities you could possibly want. Excellent quiet location, rooms to die for and hosts Graham and Maxine who care for you like family. The breakfasts , homemade and fabulous, in the charming dining room encouraged you to get up early. It was quite spacious with pleasant sitting areas inside and out. Simply put, quality with excellence.

We cannot say enough positive things about the Sugartree Inn. My husband, daughter, and I were in Vermont for our other daughter's engagement party. Graham and Maxine are the kindest and most helpful hosts. Maxine is the best cook and serves the freshest food. We were stuffed and happy every morning! The house is very comfortable as well as the rooms. My daughter (23 yr. old) commented that she hated to leave as it felt like leaving home. That is quite a complement which says alot about the house and the wonderful hosts. We can't wait to come back! I would love to get snowed in for a week!
