“Great restaurant at Sugarbush”
Reviewed February 24, 2008

We had a great experience at Chez Henri. Its located in Sugarbush village very close to the bottom of the sugarbush ski resort. Henri was very friendly, and was very disappointed that he had to turn us away the first night because they were full! Make a reservation!!! its worth it. the restaurant is so cozy..for an extra plus ask to sit at the table for two by the fireplace. what a treat! we had the fondue for an appetizer which was delicious and had one petite filet and rack of lamb. both entrees were excellent. we would definitely go back here on our next trip up to vermont!!

“a little Frech Bistro that's a MUST at Sugarbush Mountain”
Reviewed January 20, 2007

Chez Henri is a definate MUST when you go to Sugarbush in Vermont.
This a small quaint little French Bistro.
Henri welcomes you at the door with a huge smile.
The place looks somewhat Christmas-ie and the furnishings a bit withered but do not let that fool you.
We ordered two great of appetizers, the french onion soup and the mushroom Aiolli ( both I recommend highly)
for Dinner I had the seafood Pasta and my colleaugues had either the Beef Sirloin or the rack of lamb. One of the steaks was a miss but was quickly replaced while my pasta and the rack of lamb both get a 10. The fresh bread is made in a wood burning stove while the deserts are displayed at the entrance.
All the deserts looked great, my friend had the tiramisu and the other had the lemon cake. No complaints there.
Henri, came to speak to us a number of times and was very pleased that 5 school friends had managed to stay in touch after more then 20 years (this was our yearly boys trip). He was genuinly interested in our careers and was very happy with our sucess as business men and medical professionals.
The restasurant is a bit pricey but worth every penny.
Dinner for 5 was a bit over 350.00 but then again we had two bottles of wine. if you want to still expereince the place without dishing out big bucks, Henri told us that he serves lunch as well and the best time to come is about 2:30.
MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS!!! The place is small and on a busy weekend you'll need to make the reservations in advance, (use your concierge at the hotel!!!!)
Tell Henri to take a pic of you by his candy Eiffel Tower!
