“TENNIS IS KING & FACILITIES ARE SUPERIOR”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

For weekday lunches, and for weekend dinners try the on-site "Bird's Nest Bistro." The Nest has "Four Star" soups, sandwiches, and dinner entrees. This is a condo facility set up for longer stays. We have stayed in 12 different units (many shapes and many sizes) and all 12 were clean, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff is friendly and attentive to your every wish. The indoor heated pool is available year round, as is the large, attractive, and spacious hot tub. There are dry saunas in both the nicely appointed men's and ladies locker/dressing rooms. Many no charge classes are offered, yoga, water aerobics, exercise, and there is a first class weight and exercise facility. Summer or winter, there are many activities available onsite or close by. But tennis king in every season.

We have stayed at The Bridges in every season though summer is when we go the most. LOVE IT!! The units are always so clean, beds comfortable, fireplaces and friendly faces. Some condos have better decor but they have ALWAYS been clean. Our kids love the game room, indoor and outdoor pool and in the summer the half day (8:30-12:00) tennis and swim camp is fantastic! Kids can have a little freedom here to be outside without constant supervision. The front desk has movies, game balls and we even borrowed sleds during a recent winter trip. They keep a list of babysitters at the front desk and you can rest easy for a date night that the children are safe and happy.

Room Tip: Some units have gas fireplace, some wood burning, so if that matters to you ask!

Stayed here over February break in a one bedroom unit #35. Unit was nice and clean but did not have a fireplace. 2 minute drive to Sugarbush Lincoln Peak or there is a shuttle available. Indoor pool and hot tub were great after a day of skiing. On site cafe has a fully stocked bar and offers great snacks, sandwiches and meals. The chef is very friendly and goes out of her way to accommodate your requests. There is also a game room for the kids with ping pong, air hockey and foosball.

We spent 3 nights during the February vacation in Unit #19. Nice view but very tired unit with water stains on the ceiling, rotting deck and poorly equipped kitchen. The gas fireplace was on a thermostat , so without a remote, it decided when it wanted to ignite, which was very inefficient to enjoy the fire when you wanted, without boosting the thermostat up beyond where you wanted the temperature. It is the only heat source for the living/dining area and kitchen.
Bathroom had peeling wallpaper. The bedroom was very small, a double or queen bed with room for only 1 night table, and no T.V. Nice hot tub and pool. Restaurant not open for breakfast or lunch during the week, even though it was a holiday week. I would stay at the Bridges again but would request a nicer and better equipped unit. This unit was not a good value for the over $1100. we paid.

Room Tip: I made the reservations through a tour company because they came up first when I googled the lodging...

Went to Bridges from Jan 4-6th with 6 other friends. We stayed in condo #71 (2 bedrooms, 1 queen size bed, 2 full size beds, 1 bathroom). The entire condo was very clean and had all of the accommodations that one would need. The fireplace in the living room kept the entire dining room/living room area toasty overnight and all of the furniture was comfortable. There was a shuttle a few steps from our condo which took us to and from Sugarbush everyday. There is a recreational center with a pool and jacuzzi but we didn't use it. I would suggest buying groceries because the market close by is limited.

We stayed here for three nights as it is very close to where my daughter and grandchildren live. It was adequate for our needs although the one bedroom condo was looking a little tired, with stains on the ceilings and a smell of damp. The good points were the view from the sitting/dining room, it was great! Also there was a very good fire which lit automatically, the kitchen was well equipped and I was able to have the family around for a tea party. There are not very many shops close by, and the restaurant on site was only open at the weekends. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus!

Room Tip: I think there are all different types of condos, and they all have good views as far as we could tel...

This location is beautiful just down the street from the base lodge at Sugarbush. The emphasis here is on tennis, pool, and a few games for the kids which this place is geared toward. If you're not intersted in kids and their nuissances, this is not the place for you.
The tennis is excellent on clay courts with an accomplished teaching staff led by Josh. I was part of a group lesson/drill and felt they were attentive to my needs in terms of learning. The courts are in typical clay court condition which around here means a bit dry and lumpy in places.
The main pool is fine but too loud. The smaller one up by the condos is better for quiet reading. The condos are very basic but serviceable. Very 80's alpine. The lower ones tend to have more noise from the upper ones wlaking around and any loud talking can be heard thru the walls.
The periodic tennis exhibition is fun on Saturday evenings and I can't say much about the retaurant/cafe there as I waited 10 minutes and was never acknowledged by the server and left to go elsewhere.
I think they need to expand services like spa stuff and especially massage. It's a glaring hole not to offer it and send people into town for it.

Room Tip: Go high as the lower units have more noise
