“Don't Bother”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Third visit to this large open space at the base of the Sugarbush ski area. Twice in summer once in mid-winter ( theoretically high season) Didn't like it much the first time, about the same the second. Last week was really poor. Lobster Rolls chewy, tasteless, unseasoned. Risotto completly without seasoning. Appetizers not mentionable. Restaurant had only one other table occupied (apart from our party of 6 and I think they were employees). Bad evening all around.
They were nice enough to call the next day when I left my credit card behind and very pleasant when I collected it. The food just isn't worth going back for.

“Definitely NOT worth the money”
Reviewed September 3, 2012 via mobile

Title says it all. The food is just ok, not inspiring. It gets by because it is on the mountain. If it were in town, it wouldn't last a year.

“Average”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

Very average food, clearly too pricey for what they serve. Should probably eat the pub food (lobster roll, hambuger, salad)at an appropriate price for what they are. Very nice scenery though with the moutains just outside the window.

“Table service is not good.”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Yes, the ambience is nice and the mountain views off the terrace are spectacular, but you can’t eat them. On the good side, all interior aspects are clean and beautiful. The table service is immaculately set. We have eaten at the Timbers many times in past years. This visit in August 2012 was a genuine disappointment. Table service has hit new lows for the untrained wait staff. They are too slow and they don’t know what is in the dishes being served as specialties for the evening. The next two closest restaurants, The Bird’s Nest Bistro, located down the road at the Bridges Resort, and the Common Man both serve elegant Saturday and Sunday dinners much better than the Timbers. Several other reviewers have complained about both the poor service and the poor food being served this year. I think that the boiled New England lobster dinner is poorly prepared and a poor value. Don’t go here for dinner until you see some improvements reported in future Trip Adviser reviews.

“Not worth the time or effort!”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

Food and service lackluster. Needa someone with imagination and talent. Not worth the price. Please consider someplace else.
