“Not worth the price for dinner”
Reviewed March 26, 2012

The food was just OK, but nothing special. We each had a salad, entree and one glass of wine and the bill was $50 per person. The service was good and the atmosphere nice, but there are better places to go for dinner.

“Great location, convenient, adequate food”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

Overall Timbers is a great option. The food is good, but not up to what I expected overall for the atmosphere. It is a great setting in a big barn style structure attached to the Clay Brook.

“Very Expensive for Average Food”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

$15 for a shot of whiskey was steep, high priced food for average quality. Location was best but better food available elsewhere. Dinner for one was over $50 so if you want to blow travel money this is the place to dine. The following night I ate in town and spoiled myself for only $35 incl. drinks, tip and tax. I'm not a big quantity eater or drinker either. The building itself was stunning with all the wood & timber frame so the atmosphere was great but I was more interested in getting a good meal at a decent price.

“Great place for lunch while skiing...”
Reviewed March 3, 2012

The pub was jammed so we headed across the walk to fancy restaurant at the base of Sugarbush. They had a reasonably priced lunch menu and a killer special killer brew called Juniper IPA. The restaurant was beautiful and would be a great place to try for dinner.

“Reasonably priced lunch at the base of Sugarbush”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

The menu was short, but our selections were very good and not over-priced, as can happen at ski areas. There were a lot of families having lunch but it wasn't overly noisy or crowded; just a fun place to stop and have a good lunch with good service.
