My husband, 1 year old son, and extended family stayed at the Waitsfield Inn for a wedding over Valentine's Day weekend. The first wonderful thing that Vickie and Jon did was allow us to stay for two nights instead of the minimum 3 night requirement. It was kind of them to do this, as the Inn was almost fully booked and they easily could have filled our three rooms with other guests. When we arrived, Jon welcomed us to the Inn and showed us around. They have an incredible family room with a fireplace, TV, books, games, DVDs, and plenty of couches and comfortable chairs. The bedrooms and bathrooms were small, but well aquainted, cozy, and typical of the size of most B&B rooms. The breakfast was the highlight of our trip. Jon's cooking is the best you'll ever have, and we looked forward to our breakfast each morning. If only they served lunch and dinner, we would have surely ate there! If you're looking for an incredibly warm, welcoming, convenient B&B with incredible food, this is the place. We will surely return for another vacation!

Our family stayed at the Waitsfield Inn before a day of skiing. The Inn was a great experience for all of us. The cozy and charming setting matches the warmth of the inn keepers. Terrific breakfastand great service.

This inn exceeded our expectations. Vicki and John, the relatively new innkeepers, make you feel right at home. Rooms are impeccably clean and there are good reading nooks scattered throughout. John makes a great breakfast and Vicki is only too happy to help with local info. Her recommendations for bootfitters, movies, restaurants and even our wine at night were spot on. Vicki and John's friendliness seemed contagious as all their guests were eager to share their day's adventure. Waitsfield is right next to Sugarbush and Mad River so it is a winter paradise. if you're looking for a nice place for two or a family, this inn will meet your needs and then some. We can't wait to go back..

I have stayed at the Waitsfield Inn about once a year for eleven years.I stay there because it works for the visits I need to do in the area.I have seen the ups and downs of running the B&B and it is nice to see the new Innkeepers bringing back the traditional feel of the Inn. Breakfast is great and it is so nice to see the "passion" the hosts have to make your stay complete.

My boyfriend and I had car troubles in Waitsfield and ended up needing a place to stay overnight. Vicky and John, the new owners of the Inn, drove to get us in the middle of a blizzard. They were incredibly friendly and gave us a tour even though it was 11 pm when we go there. The room was warm and cozy, and John told us that they planned to begin bathroom renovations soon, even though I found them to be small but very clean. Breakfast the next morning was quiche lorraine, and my boyfriend ate three slices because he loved it so much. Before we left, we had already decided to come back in February to ski at the nearby Sugarbush resort, and in June with a few other family members. I would move in to this inn if I could, I loved it so much. If you're going to be in the area, go meet Vicky and John, and don't forget to try the cider, it's made locally and can't be missed.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Waitsfield Inn. The innkeepers’ genuine hospitality made me feel immediately at home. Breakfast was incredible and the service impeccable. The inn itself is strikingly beautiful, from the exposed beams to the unique antique furnishings; the inn is a true treasure in a picturesque town. The classic beauty of this historical Inn is only surpassed by its charm. The Waitsfield Inn offers a winning combination of sophisticated refinement with the cozy comfort of home.”

We had a wonderful stay complete with cozy fire in the great room (which is a "great room") This huge room has four groupings of sofa, chairs, etc. The room is fully stocked with games and books galore. Vickie and Jon were great hosts, friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and rooms very clean, filled with antiques. The breakfast each morning was a three course meal, everything was freshly made including a yogurt, granola and fresh fruit cup to die for. And then there was quiche! Oh my! Great coffee and conversation, we enjoyed the coziness. The wait staff, Tara, Vickie and Caitlin were gracious, timely and friendly. The history of this house is everywhere (built in 1823), by General Waitsfield. We enjoyed being able to walk and see this area without the need to drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on staying there again. I could go on and on about the grounds and home itself, but you have to see it to understand.
