“It's a Cult; but worth it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014

We always go here when we are in Waitsfield VT. We know that we will wait; but we still come because the pizza is that good. We love to gaze at the firepit & people watch. Of all the Flatbreads, we like this one the best.

“Pizza so good my kids finally shut up during dinner.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2014

In past trips to Sugarbush, we found the wait too long. This time we found at that you can get reservations, but only in person. I walked in at 6:00 (on a Saturday) and found the earliest available was 9:00. We decided to take it and came back around 8:30 and checked in. They seated us a few minutes before 9.

The seats were simple fold-up metal chairs. A few dollars spent for better chairs would have been nice.

The pizza was nothing short of amazing. My kids got the 'plain' pie and we got one that hot red peppers, goat cheese and olives. Both were out of this world. My kids didn't say two words until 'I'm done. Oh my God, that was soooo good'. We agreed that next time we are in the area, this place is an absolute must. Best food I've ever had in the area.

It would be a lot more helpful if I could make reservations over the phone.

“Overpriced pizza while sitting on metal chairs after a long wait.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

The wait is out of control, sometimes 1-1/2 hours. The pizza is very good but overpriced. The grounds are beautiful and fun. Folding metal chairs and cheap tables make for uncomfortable cramped setting. The bartender is great but the staff attitude is not so great. Go somewhere else for better value and avoid the ridiculous wait time.

“great pizza and fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Good and very inventive pizza. Lively atmosphere, people having fun. Always great salads and creative natural ingredients featured on the flatbreads. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

“Busy place, amazing pizza, just go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2014

On its own this place gets good reviews, but it also came highly recommended by our Inn host. Fortunately we arrived in the area around 4pm and were encouraged to go put our name in - that's their system, so that's what we did. We headed there after 5pm and asked for something at 7:30. When we arrived later we were seated within 5 minutes. When we left though, around 8:30 there were quite a few people waiting so perhaps earlier is better - not sure if these were walk-ins who were taking their chances without a reservation. It's a warm, cozy barn-like atmosphere. The oven is front and center so you get to watch all the action. We got a table pretty close to the pizza oven and right next to where they assemble the pies so that was fun to witness. Our server was friendly, and we didn't feel rushed even though tables are filled as soon as they are vacated. The evolution salad was delicious. This is wood-fired, thin crust pizza - it was outstanding, fresh and flavorful. They do some creative things and combine interesting ingredients if you're adventurous. You can also stick to basic pairings too. Highly recommended. If we had more time in the area, we would have very likely gone back another time.
