My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first trip together and it was amazing! The location, the amenities (including hot tub and fireplace), the hospitality of the staff, the delicious breakfast..I can't say enough wonderful things about the Stone Hill Inn. Definitely recommend!

Room tip: We stayed at Moss Glen. Lovely view of the garden.

This Bed and Breakfast will not disappoint! Highly recommended and the owners and staff are very helpful. The 3 course breakfast was delicious. Looking foward to making our trip back to do more hiking and relaxing on the beautiful grounds.

After 9 years we finally made it back to Stone Hill Inn! I can't say enough about the hospitality, comfort, and delicious breakfast. George, Linda, and Tony are the best and make every second of your stay enjoyable. We visited over Mother's Day weekend. Breakfast was scrumptious and if you have any special needs, simply ask and Linda will happily accommodate. We stayed in Fiddlehead for 3 nights. I didn't want to leave! We spent Saturday in Burlington -- go to Church Street -- and came "home" to Fiddlehead's beautiful, comfy king-size bed, luxurious Jacuzzi, and cozy fireplace. There is no comparison in Stowe. We won't wait another 9 years to return!

We wanted a quiet off season place to unplug for our honeymoon. The Stone Hill Inn is a very beautiful, very well maintained, immaculate and luxurious place to enjoy beautiful Vermont. Linda and George have a passion for hospitality and the Inn. The staff, Tony, was so helpful, professional and friendly. Not one breakfast was better than the other and they were all outstanding, high quality food and beautifully presented every morning. Stone Hill Inn is a beautiful private place to rest after a day of hiking, shopping, skiing etc. We loved playing a game or two in the magnificent game/pool/tv room during our down times. We enjoyed our surroundings at the Inn so much that we never rushed ourselves to get out on our excursions and we looked forward to kicking back at the Inn after a day of outside fun. The rooms are large, the furniture is comfy, luxurious and made for luxury and living. I loved early morning tea and evening tea and Linda's home baked goods in the well supplied pantry. Everything is at your fingertips and they have many special touches that are supplied for the guests to use during their stay. Needless to say we came back from this trip so refreshed and relaxed. We hope to return!

Room tip: The fiddlehead room has a quiet private patio, located at the end corner and also has a refrigerator in the room.

I care very much about customer service. I actually don't often write reviews, but it's worth writing the fact that George and Linda made my girlfriend and I feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to the end of our visit. We were never made to feel like our requests were a burden, and it was clear that George and Linda take great pride in running their establishment and taking care of their guests. Service, amazing. Food, incredible. Accommodations, excellent. When we mentioned wanted to go on a hike, George let us borrow backpacks and water bottles and gave us maps and recommendations. At breakfast we were given the choice of their deliciously crafted menu options such as cannellini bean hash or apple, raisin and pecan stuffed french toast, and we were also offered the chance to customize any of these options or request something else. In short, we were made to feel at home and at the same time were given plenty of privacy when we wanted it. Great job George and Linda! Our experience could not have been better, and that's saying something considering we're probably a little picky :)
