“Great Hosts...Great Area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

This was my first stay at a Bed&Breakfast and I can say that Cody, Michael and Vera are a delight. I spent 4 days/5 nights and enjoyed myself thoroughly. They have coupons to various places so that you can get discounts on the services provided.

Seeing the Fall Foliage was one of the main reasons for my trip and I was not disappointed. The area was quaint and homey. Love it.

The grounds were well kept and my room was clean. Breakfast was delish. I would recommend The Arbor Inn and Stowe, to anyone wanting a taste of great hospitality and a place to visit.

We just spent 2 lovely Fall Leaf Peeping days @ The Arbor Inn where we had our expectations met and then some. After finding all the big name resorts busy,we decided to try this charming resort and were so happy we did. It has been renovated by its 2 owners,Michael and Cody who along with their dog and parrot and Vera provided us with everything we needed for our stay. The place is located just a touch away from the main part of town which was perfect for viewing the mountain from our small, garden filled deck outside our room. It was immaculate and had a good mattress for a change. We needed glasses for our wine and Michael provided then saying,"No one should drink wine from a plastic glass!!!" How true! Breakfast was soooo good and their homemade sausage and bacon were excellent .Our Belgian waffles and eggs were picture perfect but the best was the wonderful feeling of the owners who really cared that we enjoyed the area. They provided discounts for certain places but have such a wealth of knowledge for the area and spent the time to tell us about Moss Glen falls which we had never heard of before. It was lovely on such a beautiful Fall foliage season day.

Nearby was the Stowe Recreation Path with scenic views of barns, mountains, creeks, scarecrows, people that we felt as if we were in a painting!!
I am certainly glad they are there and plan to return often. Happy Days to them! You will enjoy the experience!

The Arbor Inn fully justifies all it's great reviews here, welcomed and made to feel at home right from the start. The room was comfortable and very clean, well decorated and maintained, I think the website pictures do not do the rooms justice.
Good place to tour the beautiful area from and the discount coupons for the gondola and restaurant next door were most welcome. The Arbor Inn is not within walking distance of the town of Stowe or many restaurants, luckily the restaurant next door, Gracie's is fab and we ate there both nights.
Breakfast was home made and lovely, Cody even made a point of ensuring that I ate something after missing breakfast when I was unwell. Thanks Cody, you are a gem.
These guys seem to love what they do and it shows. Hope to see you again sometime and both of you enjoy YOUR upcoming holidays.

We spent three nights at the Inn and really enjoyed the experience. Michael and Cody are great and fun to talk with. They are very willing to help with travel plans, sightseeing, etc. Their breakfasts are great too. Very tasty.
The rooms are restored so it is not like a new hotel room but that is part of the experience. Our room had a fantastic spa/Jacuzzi. The bed was pretty comfortable. We had a fireplace. There was a 19" TV that worked OK. Overall we liked the room.
We would definitely go back to the same B&B if we return to Stowe, for whatever that is worth.

From the spotlessly clean room to the scrumptious breakfast, Michael and Cody (and Vera too) have again offered us a home away from home for our annual jaunt to Stowe. With their inviting rooms, warm and generous hospitality, excellent concierge service, beautiful gardens, and spectacular views of Mt. Mansfield, what else do you need. Can’t wait to stay again next year!

Superb breakfasts with a fresh, never ending supply of coffee and exemplary customer service. Michael and Cody are exceptional hosts who strive to make every visit a highly memorable experience. The venue is wonderful with charming treed gardens and a great view of the Vermont countryside.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the mountain

My daughter and I decided to go to Vermont at the last minute on Labour Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised to be able to find a room at the Arbor Inn in Stowe. The surrounding area was so peaceful, perfect getaway from a hectic life :)
We went to the fair in Essex, visited the local sights, and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Breakfast was amazing and the atmosphere was bubbly.
