A few things you should know about the Dutch Pancake Cafe....
The food is a little pricey.
The service can be horrendous. If you go while they are having their breakfast rush, chaos tends to reign. Best to go early during service or late. They do serve a little later than other places in town. The waitstaff is usually nice, but they don't seem to have a system of seating people that makes sense here on earth.
While those two things are not so great, I gave this place a high rating because I LOVE the food. It is some of the best breakfast in town. I had these pancakes on a boardwalk in Holland many years ago and when a place opened in Stowe that claimed to make them, I was eager to try them. I have eaten at this restaurant many, many times and anyone I've brought with me over the years has raved about the food. I look forward to eating here every summer while up in Stowe. The menu is huge and there are lots if choices of pancakes (they actually have them numbered... my favorite is #24.) However, if you do not want the Dutch style pancakes you can get regular ones and have a choice of several egg dishes also.
BOTTOM LINE: GREAT FOOD, SO-SO SERVICE DEPENDING ON TIME OF MORNING.
