“Wonderful restaurant, great crowd!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Ate at Piecasso during our end of August stay in Stowe. Very popular spot as always, and even wtih the expansion unless you arrive early plan on grabbing a drink at the bar or waiting outside for a bit. Variety of pastas, pizzas and sandwiches/salads on menu to fit any appetitie. Kids menu available. They have added theme nights, the seafood/raw bar night (Tuesday's I believe) is really good.

“Really odd experience”
Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

I was pretty excited to eat here. I have been coming up to Stowe for years and had yet to go here. My boyfriend and I just wanted to get a couple slices of pizza for lunch and a beer. We read in a local magazine that Travel and Leisure rated the pizza top 11 in the country. Upon entering no one that worked there seemed to really understand what to do with us since we only wanted slices to eat. I watched it happened with 4 other people. They say you can order at the bar and then after you order your beer if you want pizza they make you walk over to a separate area and order it yourself, but then go back to the bar to pay. It was totally unorganized. The bartender was so rude to the hostess. She asked the hostess to cut fruit for her and she just starts cutting them right next to my boyfriend and I at the bar. She didn't wash her hands or wear gloves while doing it. Last but not least the pizza was so thin and over cooked. It was dry and the flavor lacked. I would never go back there. I feel bad because maybe we just caught them on a off day? They have potential but maybe just need to rework the staff training and possibly the recipes. : (

“Good pizza but busy”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Great food but really busy. Get there earlier than you are hungry. Nice beer selection on tap and accommodating of larger parties.

“Good pizza selection”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Go there for the pizza and you wont be disapointed, original selection of pies. Be careful if you select a hamburger though, mishap had our son eat an half-cooked meat. We should have been more careful and check the cooking before without relying on a restaurant personnel. Our waitress kindly acknowledge our concern however, so I can also say they have good service at this place.

Price is reasonable and you get a decent serving for your money.

“Good food, gluten free choices”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

The really awesome thing here is gluten free pizza is on the menu. It's good and we'll probably be back during our stay in the area. Very tasty. They do advertise local GF beer, but didn't have any to serve. We like to eat outside. The outside seating at Piecasso is not worth the try. Maybe 6 tables total and seated right on top of each other. No privacy & no space. Lastly, the service is ...s..l..o..w.. So be sure you have time to spare. One of our pizza's was made incorrectly - but was very good just the same. Place was busy so that must mean they consistently have good food. Why are we going back??? Very good gluten free pizza!
