“Must Dining Spot in Stowe!”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

If you find yourself in Stowe, this is the place you must dine. Located in a colonial house, the rooms are small, some with fireplaces. We were in the front room with a lovely view down the mountain side.

Varied and excellent menu with sophisticated service. Delicious - worthy of a NYC restaurant.

“Amazing food and service”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We recently had dinner here and were surprised to find such great food and service. We have driven past here many times but never see any cars, so thought it had to be a "dive." We were pleasantly surprised. The meal and our server, Ricky, were exceptional. We dined there with friends and all of us had a delicious meal. The lime dessert was so yummy, as was the soup and all of the entrees.

“Wonderful Meal!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We had dinner at the wonderful Bistro at Ten Acres tonight. Our table was perfect-- in a bay window overlooking the mountains. I had the barbecue pork shank which was so delicious with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. It was such a large portion that I brought about half of it home. My husband had the sole special which he also raved about. I was only sorry that I didn't have room for dessert! The atmosphere was cozy and the owners very nice. The waitress couldn't be more accommodating. This was a memorable dining experience!

“A superb meal”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

My husband and I met a friend there for dinner and were not disappointed. Our reservation was for 7:00 and since we arrived a bit early, we sat at the bar and had a cocktail. The owners were extremely friendly and shared the history of Ten Acres with us, while we waited for our friend to arrive. Dinner was delicious! My husband ordered the pork shank and said it was so tender that the meat fell off the bone. I had the chicken with spinach and it was juicy and savory. It's a great place to be able to chat with your dinner companions because it's not loud. A great experience overall.
