We really like this place. This is the third time we have had a great lunch here.We ordered a ground turkey lettuce wrap which was tasty but too sweet for me and a very tasty flat-bread sandwich.
Service is always a little (sometime very) chaotic and was again. The patio is wonderful and situated steps from the Stowe rec path. Prices are very fair.
They have a great selection of house-made beer. Excellent!

I will start on the positive side. The beer was very good.

Everything, and I mean everything else was horrible. The hostess was confused. Was told the kitchen staff was sent home so looked like the bartender or manager "put on an apron".

Food was very slow coming out then came at once.

The mussels were gooey and inedible...food poisoning?

The turkey lettuce wraps were scary...sent them back.

I will say that I felt sorry for the waitress, she was apologetic and obviously embarrassed.

Should have gone with daughters first instinct and left when she said the baseboards in the kitchen looked dirty.

A gentleman at another table on leaving said " worst service and food ever"

We travel to New England a lot, for the beautiful environment and great culinary traditions.

Ironically we ate at Crop on their opening night.,. The service was horrible but the food was good, so we thought we would try again. Big mistake, never again.

My boyfriend and I were checking out craft breweries this weekend and crop was the best one we hit all the weekend. First of all of their 9 beers on tap we agreed that for our tastes the brewed 8 really excellent beers, the Helles was a great light beer with a good amount of flavor, the double ipa excited all my tastes buds and did not kill them with too many hops.

We also had a the heirloom tomato salad and it was light and yummy.

And last but not least, the two times we went the service in the bar was great! They chatted us up like we were locals and the next time in the area we will back for sure!

Nothing special here. No frills pub food with a slightly higher price. The service was fine - nobody went out of the way to make the experience nice.

We ate here twice, one day for lunch and another for dinner. It is adjoining the bike path, and is very much friendly to bike path users as well as upscale clientele. Very much child friendly for outdoor patio users as well. The service is top notch and the food is incredible. House brewed beer was also excellent. If you would like an unpretentious meal in Stowe using fresh ingredients - this is the place to go.
