We enjoyed two dinners here on our last visit to Stowe. Don't miss the Willi Vanilli vanilla porter - something very special. My husband loves their Double IPA. The food is very, very good but can be pricey - stick with pub fare if cost is a concern and watch for their specials. We enjoyed an outstanding Lamb Stew - the entree was very reasonably priced and it was plenty of food. They have live music some nights and two different bars - one upscale and one tavern. Don't miss this on your next visit to Stowe - if only for a beer.

The local craft beers are why you stop here. The food was average pub fare. We ordered the fish and chips and a burger and fries. The fries could have been crispier for our liking. My burger was cooked perfectly to order and the onions were excellently carmelized. The staff was knowledgeable about the beers and helped us choose a beer that was perfect when the one we wanted they were out of. We will likely visit again to grab a pint.

We enjoyed a late light lunch here & thoroughly enjoyed the beer bettered fried pickles and the cheddar lager soup; neither of which we'd had in any restaurant before. The batter of the pickles was light and non greasy and the soup tasty. A good experience.

This is a great bistro/pub in Stowe. They brew their own beer (which was fantastic) and the food is outstanding. The prices were very reasonable as well. We went on a Saturday and they had live music. All in all it was a great experience and if I'm ever back in Stowe, I will surely return.

Large restaurant that looks small on the outside, warm, friendly staff. Great food! Gluten free and tasty options (I highly recommend the shoulder béarnaise which tastes like filet). My husband loved all the beer made on the premises which is rare. Quick service and worth the prices which are reasonable! Would go back again and again!
