Very friendly and professional staff. Room was clean but a little below average. Definitely not worth the $200 a night that we paid. We got the one of the jacuzzi/fireplace rooms. It was in the basement with no view other than the parking lot. There is a nice restaurant on premises but a little pricey. The motel is an easy walk (a little less than a mile) into town for shopping. Sidewalk the whole way and great views of the area. Overall, considering the price and what we received, I would stay at one of the numerous other motels/B7Bs next time.

Room Tip: Don't let them put you in one of the basement/lower level rooms.

Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us over this busy Columbus Weekend and thank you for taking the time to recognize the staff, room cleanliness and the quality of our restaurants.

The rooms in the Main Inn on our lower level are slightly larger than many of the mid and upper level rooms. Their location ensures peace and quiet as they are away from the roadside but they do receive wonderful morning sunshine. Many past guests have commented on how they enjoy the private garden like area that is accesible from these rooms only. The room you enjoyed while with us has some of our new bed spreads. For a romantic getaway, these rooms are ideal. King size bed, large Jacuzzi tub and a fireplace in a sitting area great for time with that special someone.

Guests of the Grey Fox Inn are offered a 15% discount on breakfast at the Dutch Pancake Cafe and a 10% discount off of dinner at The Pub @ The Grey Fox Inn with live music every weekend.

On your next visit may I recommend one of our Mountain View rooms. This building has rooms of many sizes, capacities and amenities. Including Jacuzzi fire place rooms with king beds and most imprtantly a ground floor patio or balcony so you may enjoy views of Mount Mansfield while having your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine.

Ummm! My sister & I headed toward town for breakfast & happened upon this wonderful little establishment. We shared our orders of pumpkin pancakes w/walnuts & maple syrup & the fall omlet was stuffed w/crisp apples, cheese & maple sausage. Very good food, service & price. I'd consider staying here too, looked very cozy and comfortable.

We did not stay at the Inn but ate at the Inn's restaurant, called The Pub. We had dinner there and it was absolutely fantastic. We loved it.

My husband and I stayed at Grey Fox on the recommedation of family members. We had a great time. We had the corner room with views of the mountains and recreation path. the room had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The room was immaculate. Staff at the inn were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would caution against is dinner in the pub. Food was only okay and service was slow. That being said, my husband and I will definitely go back.

Room Tip: Corner room has great views. The room next door which we checked out before leaving was a two bedroom suite with balcony which was very large and sunny.

Have stayed here three times in the building overlooking the bike path. Each time it has been great. Rooms are spacious, really clean and up to date. All the staff has been helpful and accomdating. Nice friendly atmosphere. Sort of a hidden-away gem.
