Not sure if many tourists leave the downtown area, but this is 5 min from main street. Lovely pretty covered bridge. follow the directions on the map down short unpaved road.

I believe it would be better togo when it is dark or if you have the willpower, wake up at 2am and go. It's an old coverered bridge with a sad story, however cant see the views of stream below. The drive to get to bridge is winding and somewhat steep, however it has beautiful views, cute, stunning country homes.

We wanted to see a few of the local bridges and waterfalls in the area. This is a Nice old bridge, in a pretty setting. Get directions, as some folks say its hard to find. Its on a dirt road, just watch the signs. Not the best covered bridge, but still nice to see them..
Took a few minutes and took pictures, then drove on down to Waterbury.

There is a really interesting story that Stowe natives are willing to share. It is such a beautiful view aside from the story.
