“Great coffee choices!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2014

The Black Cap has a bunch of different coffee choices, good pastry choices, WiFi and really comfy couches and chairs to relax in to get out of the cold for a while!

“Nice cafe in Stowe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

My friend and I went there every morning during our ski trip because it was the only place which opened for those whose hotel not included breakfast. Hot cider was amazing, hot chocolate, mint latte, cappuccino, espresso were all good. Sandwiches were acceptable, and not over-price. Staffs were really nice, but they looked a bit sleepy, I could not blame them since it was 7 in the morning. Very nice cafe just to sit back and relax before skiing.

“Don't bother”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2014

If you want a latte or espresso drink this place will do but don't bother with any of the food offerings. Egg sandwiches made ahead with pre-made egg produce not a fresh cracked egg. All the food offerings were only marginally a step above a fast food product but were not even cooked fresh?? Why bother? Coffee was weak.

“Cold -11 degree day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

I had a great experience at this little shop. It was an extremely cold day so we walked down from our hotel, the place was extremely busy and the staff took order after order and didn't get anything mixed up or better yet didn't take forever. We were pleased.

Coffee is nice, quite a warm and inviting place, they do sausage and egg muffins to which are lovely. Highly recommend you pop in.
