“Amazing even in the rain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

Highly recommended - we rode the entire length both ways and it was great even in the rain! Very pretty, lots of great places to access or stop along the way.

“Why doesn't every place have one?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

It's such a great free way to enjoy the town! The path is gorgeous, criss crossing over numerous small bridges/streams - the views are delicious, and the grade is easy for all fitness levels. I love to bike it, but walking is just as sweet. It makes Stowe an even more enjoyable place.

“Surprisingly good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

The motel reception staff did a good sales pitch for this path, so much so that we thought it might be a bit of something and nothing and hesitateda little about taking it. We could not have been more wrong. In the Fall, it is a beautiful walk, and we took a little detour round the "Quiet Path", which was fabulous. In high season, with bikes, roller bladers et al, it might be a little crowded, but in October, it was great. It isn't circular, so be prepared to retrace your steps, but coming at things from a different angle is good! A great free resource.

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

This path is beautiful, fairly flat, parts run along a river and is clear of debris. It's great for walking, running, roller blading, biking & dog walking.

“Most scenic bike path ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

Avoid weekends during peak seasons if you like solitude, but we love this meandering path with all the scenic bridges and use it in place of a car most of the time we're in Stowe. Love that we can ride from the shops on Main Steet past the entrance to the corn maze and all the way (5.5 miles) to the covered bridge at the end with lots of swimming spots and photo spots along the way. Slightly uphill as you ride towards the mountain, but barely noticeable until you can easily fly in the opposite direction!
