We recently stayed at the Brass Lantern Inn and we had an excellent experience. Mary Anne and George are kind, gracious and knowledgeable hosts. Mary Anne will help you plan the perfect day(s) in Stowe and George will cook you the best breakfasts you'll ever have at any B&B. We had homemade quiche, croissants and Belgian waffles with blueberry reduction. The Inn is very well kept with beautiful gardens and lots of indoor/outdoor games for you to play during any downtime during the day. It is also within walking distance (1 mile or less) from the center of Stowe. They are also environmentally friendly, which is great. We have recommended Brass Lantern to everyone we know and can't wait to go back! --Joe and Courtney

My husband and I stayed here on our Honeymoon on the way back from our vacation to Maine. The hosts were from Ohio, like us, which was a total surprise--and a joy! They couldn't have been a nicer couple. The Inn is well maintained, very pretty, and has gorgeous views of the hills. There is ample parking in a side lot, which makes life easier. Our room was on the small side, but cozy. The bathroom was also small--not the newest, but it served our purpose. Breakfast was delicious and the hot tub was a plus!!

My daughter and I stayed with Goerge and Mary Ann for a late season skit trip. The inn is just great, you can get some quiet time in your room or be more social in the living room. George is an ace at making breakfast, we had a filling cooked meal both days. His whole family is welcoming as well. I came up to Stowe for the skiiing, it's a great layout, there is a more beginner-intermediate mountain and then there is the original mountain which is more advanced. And for dessert, Ben & Jerry's factort tour is nearby as well. The Brass Lantern Inn is a great place to stay!

What a great Inn, George and Mary Anne are the perfect hosts, the room was delightful the view across the mountains the best in Stowe. George cooks the best breakfast we had in our three week trip around New England. We were treated like one of the family. The inn is stunning both inside and out .Just a Five star experience, we were sad to leave and will be back.

Very helpful and kind innkeepers. Beautiful and clean rooms. Great breakfast and in the afternoon we really enjoyed the FREE Food. The place was cosy and we were only planning on staying for a night but that became more.
