Had dinner here the other night. Dinner was great. I started with the green salad, consisting of blueberries. Dinner was a grilled salmon that was unusually moist, making it fantastic! The mustard/maple sauce incredible! Mom had a rack of lamb which she said was excellent. Shaun our waiter was great! Nice personality. The hostess, Amanda I believe also very very nice. Wait staff of Simon and Britton very efficient. Praise is due when you have good service! Breakfast the next day here also solid!

We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely everything was about our two dinners at Solstice. Although it isn't stuffy in the least, the restaurant is one of the most refined in the area. The dining room is beautifully designed with a soaring ceiling and interesting glass details, and the view of both Spruce Peak and Mount Mansfield is wonderful from the window tables. Everything we had was excellent, with the finest quality ingredients and terrific flavor combinations. One of our favorites was adding lobster to our order, in which about half of a lobster was prepared as an appetizer at our request. The signature pot roast with horseradish sauce, while a bit heavy for the summer months, was really outstanding. Service was friendly and skilled. Solstice is definitely worth the drive up to the mountain!

We stayed at the Stowe Mountain Lodge and ate breakfast daily at Solstice. It's a bit pricey, but you're on the mountain. Who would want to drive anywhere else? As expected, there is Vermont maple syrup and Vermont dairy, which are both exceptional products. The food is very well executed, and the atmosphere is gorgeous without being precious. I would miss the breakfasts here if I had a condo with a kitchen.

I have stayed at Stowe Mountain for many years. This was the first time eating in the hotel. It's just beautiful. The service was prompt and the selection was varied. There is something for all.

a newer place and kinda trendy. Seated at the bar to wait for table and was amazed at the service the two bar keepers were delivering! once at our table, nice and by a window, service slowed down quite a bit. menu limited but interesting. the margaritas were AMAZING.
