It's pretty much like any other Outback, food is decent if that's what you're into, service was better than expected.

“Customer Service with a SMILE!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

We recently ate at our local Outback but we eat there often when we are in the mood for steak. My hubby and I very much like the menu selections but I'll tell you what I like about it even more, we've been there a few times when they over cook a steak and the wait person apologizes then the manager comes out and apologizes and instead of bringing you just a new steak they bring you a whole fresh plate while leaving the old one behind (minus the miscooked steak) for you to eat while they make the fresh one so you wind up getting two meals and (if you are like me) having something to take home for the next day. No matter what you ask for, how you want it cooked, even if you want a piece of foil to cover the light above the table -- the waitstaff is more than happy to do it!! Some of things we like to order are: filets, tuna, lobster tail, crab legs, porterhouse steak, and aussie fries. Also, it's a great place for a date when you want to just sit and relax and talk without be rushed!

Came in late for local standards (8:30/9:00).
Service really bad, slow.
Food was kind of cold and the portions were minimal, the sides like salad or fries were the smallest portion ever seen in the States!
Decaf coffee was cold. once we asked our waitress, she kind of admitted that this pot had been made a long time ago, and that we were served the left-overs. She seemed so pissed-off at the idea of brewing a new pot that we ended-up reheating the coffee in the micro-wave, just like in college!
Restaurants is huge and the 3 partyes eating at that time were all seated one to each other, so our laughing and chating seemed to disturb the other 2 tables.....sad.

Will never go back there.

“G'day for a bonza steak...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

I was recently visiting Vermont on business after a two year absence and I happily took the opportunity revisit some restaurants.

I was staying near the Outback on Dorset Street South Burlington and went for dinner on a couple of occasions, usually late in the evening.

The service is good. I always started with a cold Switchback beer (creature of habit!); excellent beer, but as ever served way too cold.

My chosen starters were either the seared Ahi Tuna or the Barbecue Shrimp - both really good ways to start the meal.
Entrees ranged from Rib Eye, Sirloin and Prime Rib= yes a certain theme is apparent! Beef cooked medium-rare as requested - yum. Particularly liked the 6 oz Sirloin and Lobster Tail for $14.99 - what's not to like!

An excellent steak house. Happily revisit. Preferably not after another two year.

“Coconut shrimp”

Blackberry sangria was yummy.
Coconut shrimp app went best with Soy ginger sauce the waiter recommended. He brought 2 other sauces to try as well.
