I went here around Christmas 2018 from Manhattan. The hotel was filled with people since it was too cold to safely ski due to arctic temps. It was a good value for the price mainly because the free breakfast which included a lobster omelet which was packed with huge chunks of lobster. We were 7 people including three kids under ten and the waitress was excellent. Kudos to her and the chef for making this average stay into a memorable stay.

This hotel is a newly acquired Marriott property, just starting to undergo renovations. It is super huge, with a fitness facility, an indoor pool and onsite restaurant.the room is dated, but clean and offers a quite nights sleep.

Construction in the main entrance and other areas look to be upgraded but this is a Marriott and they have high standards. This will be a nice place to go to get away from downtown and tourist this summer. Very nice breakfast included with some room rates. It's a large campus so ask to be toward the front not the back.

Stayed 5 nights. Room small. Barely room for one to walk around bed. bathroom so small you can’t get to commode without closing door. Slippery shower floor. No ridges or mats. Really old flooring in shower. Bedding was so dusty I had asthma attack, something I normally only get when ill with bronchitis. Restaurant mediocre. Penne with Alfredo sauce was just glubby and horrible. Wings were ok. I wouldn’t recommend this. There are much nicer places. I stay I in the area every year and there are other much nicer options.

Good Morning Marianne S,

Thank you for taking the time to review Trader Dukes Hotel. We appreciate the feedback and are terribly sorry your experience was less than satisfactory. I have shared your feedback with the appropriate departments.

We are currently in the midst of a major renovation that will include our guest rooms and suites, public spaces, and a new concept for our restaurant. This entire project will be completed in early 2019.

Again, we apologize for your recent experience and would be delighted if you stayed with us again once our renovations are completed.

Kind regards,

Christopher Floreani

Booked for overnight visit on way to Quebec and this hotel was fine for it.. Paid 100$ for it and was a fair price but may be reluctant to pay full price.. hot tub was not functional and rooms seemed dated..

Thank you for sharing your valued input of your recent stay with us. We are currently in the process of a $5 million renovation as we work our way towards becoming a Delta Hotel by Marriott. Renovations will include redesign and refurbishing of our Exterior, Lobby, Restaurant and all 161 of our business class and Suite accommodations. I do hope you will chose to stay with us again should you have an opportunity to visit Burlington and experience a fresh new surrounding.
