We stayed in a two room suite over Memorial Day weekend while in town for the Vermont City Marathon. The suite was spacious and it was nice to have a full size refrigerator in the room. The hotel is a bit dated and needs some updating (especially the carpets in the hallways). Also, the wifi internet connection in the room was painfully slow. However, I was able to plug in my laptop into the wired ethernet connection which was much much faster. Overall, a nice hotel (especially if you stay in a two room suite) and it was very convenient if you are in town for the marathon (the pasta dinner is held in the hotel ballroom, the marathon expo is close by, and downtown Burlington is only 2 miles away). There is also a Barnes & Nobles across the parking lot, which was a nice place for our 3 year old son to play and read books.

Room Tip: Suites have full size refrigerators and are at the back of the hotel which is quieter.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay with us at the Doubletree by Hilton Burlington. We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us, and found one of our two room suites to be spacious and comfortable. I'm sorry you had trouble with our wireless internet. We did recently get an upgrade to our wireless, but since our old network is still showing up and active, some guests end up connecting to the slower one. This is an issue we are working on solving, and I'm very sorry if it inconvenienced you. Thank you again for your review, we hope to see you again soon!

I stayed at this hotel to run the Key Bank Vermont City Marathon because they were one of the hotels with shittle buses to start. Very friendly staff. I had to check out Sunday morning but asked if I could come back to shower. They graciously gave me a key to the fitness center to shower and change when I returned to the hotel after the race. I would stay there again!

Nice hotel with good amenities. We were very comfortable there for our short stay. They offer fresh baked cookies upon check in; they're delicious but over 300 calories per cookie! The rooms are renovated and spacious. The mattresses were a bit too soft for our liking but that's personal preference. We needed a crib for our stay and were pleasantly surprised that it was large and sturdy. The carpets in the hallways have a bit of a musty smell but no biggie, it was probably worse than normal since it was humid and raining during our stay.
Overall, we were pleased and felt we got good value.

We went on a college tour this spring and stayed here. It was very nice, people friendly, facilities clean and comfortable. The rooms are large, clean, well designed and comfy. Our breakfast was very good. Last year on a vacation, we stayed at the big Hilton located directly on the waterfront and the service and amenities were not that great. The Doubletree is a WAY WAY better place to stay (however not dierctly on the lake). The Doubletree staff is so much more friendly and helpful. And the Doubletree doesn't nickel and dime you to death for every little thing such as wifi or parking. And the big Hilton is so much more expensive -- they're just skating on the view, though and do little to provide excellence to guests. When in Burlington, choose DOUBLETREE!!!!

I really loved this hotel, there was very little not to like.

Friendly helpful staff, modern amenities, nice rooms properly equipped. Loved the big fridge! Good sound insulation. Great breakfast(at the restaurant for a fee - expensive though). There was excellent fitness center, indoor pool and a sundeck.

The only negatives would be not having an outdoor pool and having only one elevator. Also maybe the hotel layout being very spread out and only two floors. It is a big hotel definitely. Also the rate you pay is a tad high but, it is worth it.

Recently stayed here for a business trip. I'm a Hilton Gold (formerly Diamond) member and it was cheaper and closer to our meetings than staying at the Burlington Hilton. That said, nothing beats the Burlington Hilton in terms of location (walking to downtown and views of the Lake). However, this was fine. The rooms were nice and re-done. The breakfast buffet was very limited and not very good, but for my free breakfast (as a Gold member) I could order an entrée so that made up for it. The hotel is sprawling so it can be a walk to your room and the elevators are oddly placed. It's on a busy street, nothing special, but there is a Starbucks across the street.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. We certainly appreciate your loyalty to Hilton as a Gold HHonors member. We offer a large brunch buffet weekly on Sunday morning in Trader Duke’s Restaurant, but typically only offer breakfast cooked to order off the menu, as you enjoyed with your breakfast voucher. We do offer a small buffet option only in the early morning hours for our early travelers. Overall, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back the next time you’re in town. If you ever have requests for before or during your stay to make your time with us more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to let us know! Thank you, and take care.
