We stayed in one room and my brother and his wife in another. Their toilet didn't work on arrival, but the manager did come out right away and fix it. Said their room had a cleaning chemical smell. The rooms we were in faced a busy highway and there was some road noise - not terrible but definitely noticeable. Beds were hard and flat. TV remote didn't work other than to change volume and turn on/off - was told to reset the box but it did no good and it was a DirectTV box with no visible way to change channels without the remote. Rooms had hot water heat and the room was chilly on arrival so we turned the heat on. The room temperature went about 8 degrees past the setting even after we shut it down. We found the managers glasses on one of the beds. Room included 1/2 off tickets to the nearby museum which we couldn't use because the museum had a 3/4 off special that day. Also, had tickets for coffee and english muffin at nearby restaurant but passed because of exterior of restaurant. Room arrangement was a little odd with a little alcove area tucked in the back of the room adjacent to the restroom. Room charge was $95 plus tax for 2 double beds - way overpriced.

Needed a one night stay last minute. Many local hotels were booked and settled for this one - $183 with tax!
The two queen bed room was clean and avg. size. The beds were sponge soft and pillows too hard and uncomfortable. No coffee machine but a small refrigerator was in the room. Location was convenient to Shelburned Farms and Museum as well as Burlington area. Asked for extra shampoo since there was only one tiny bottle for 4 people; she asked if I would be picking it up (?!!) then changed her mind to deliver it for me since I had little kids. She did deliver extra soap and towels along with the shampoo. The room comes with a free coupon for coffee/OJ and English Muffin breakfast next door at the Dutch Mill Inn restaurant which deserves its own review for bad service and food.

I felt this room was very overpriced for the quality of the room and service but it met the need and at least it was clean. I wouldn't recommend it unless you get a good price more close to $100.

Not a bad place to stay, but this remains a motel, and for 140$ there are problably other places around that will offer more.

We stayed only one night here, but would have stayed longer if we hadn't already booked a B&B for the other nights. It was a VERY nice little place. True to the other reviews, the room and grounds were spectacularly clean and neat. The room was larger and better arranged than many of the chains. The beds, linens, and amenities were also way better than chains. Although the motel is on the main road, we were given a room in the back unit and didn't hear any traffic at night. The gentleman at the desk (possibly the owner) was very professional and very friendly. The room came with free continental breakfast at the restaurant next door, but we paid for a full breakfast and enjoyed that also..We would definitely go back and have recommended the T-Bird Motor Inn to friends.

I spent 4 nights here with my 2 daughters (hubby could not come on this trip because of work) and I felt safe and well taken care of. Owner lives on site and maintains proper oversight of the staff and visitors to this cute motor inn. The rooms are up to date but the feel of the place is definitely retro. Our clean room was simple and had been updated, it is apparent that the rooms are updated often when needed. The beds were firm and comfortable, well made on retro immoveable pedestals which I am sure will be part of the next update but had no effect on a comfortable sleep for me and my girls. Extremely comfortable, pleasant, totally non smoking, awesome pool with pool towels provided, nice front desk help, great discounts to area museums, etc. and best of all- your car can be parked right in front of your room! Fair and honest pricing, free continental breakfast at restaurant next door, I will return here next summer for visit! Recommend highly, call for pricing before you visit or reserve online for best price!

We were up on a fall weekend and had made a reservation. When we arrived we were told the price was three times as much because they required you to pay for two nights. We had not make the reservation for two nights. Since I would not pay the outrageous fee. They then charged me a $51 charge for canceling the reservation. I am fighting to get my money back. We were then left with no place to stay and two desk clerks that could care less.

We stayed here 2 nights. The room was clean, roomy and very nice. Note: I am a clean freak. The pool area is pretty. Good sized spotless bathroom. The staff was helpful for us in finding a restaurant and fun activities to do.

Go here if you are in Shelburne. some of the other places look creepy.
