Me and my husband had a private tour. It was nice to learn about how Teddy bears started and how they are made. Very interesting. My favorite part of the tour was the hospital area. They actually have a hospital for the bears if they need any medical assistance, or repairs better said. You can tell these bears are good quality and will last forever. Kids definitely would want one after seeing the tour, so you parents make sure to bring enough money to buy one. Their prices range from $50 to $100.

“great for all ages!”

I liked the fact that the building was whimsical and had different areas to go through. One was building your own, one was full of Teddy Bears, and one had clothing and accessories. Fun, fun, fun!

“So much fun”

Totally worth taking the little or the big ones, the guided tours are always fun and lots for people to do. The bears themselves are way too expensive and the options are a bit strange, but great place overall.

If you have kids or have a fetish for stuffed bears, then this a distracting hour. You tour the factory and see how a bear is assembled. Ho hum

“Great Family Activity”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2012

The tour was very interested and entertaining. Our tour guide, Lynna, was funny and very informative. Our toddlers were engaged during the tour. The tours offers lots of interactive and sensory experiences such as touching the Teddy Bear filling, touching small pieces of bear fabric, etc. The kids were very excited to make their own bears. When visiting the Teddy Bear Factory with children you need to understand that you have no chance of visiting this place without having the kids make their own bears or buying an already made bear. Having the children make their own bears was a fun experience. It also provided between the tour and bear making about 2 hours of entertainment which is hard to find in
Vermont during the Winter when one is not skiing.
