We had a similar experience as other reviewers. The woman working there was not super friendly and kind of rushed through the tasting. We didn't enjoy the wines, but the views out the windows were nice. And we took glasses home with us. Eh-you never know if you'll like the wines until you try them.

As you're driving by the vineyard looks pretty and it's very convenient to Rte 7, just outside Burlington. But the tour was...short and not very interesting. And the wines were terrible. We actually thought the red wine might have been corked and asked the girl pouring "Is it supposed to taste like this?" The only thing we enjoyed drinking was the apple cider ice wine, from Eden, which is a completely different vineyard in another part of Vermont. The pouring glasses were lovely but at $5 for a tasting we really didn't enjoy, I would never visit here again.

I travel to Vermont about 3 times a year and I always come here. The wine is great and you get to keep the glass (Im working on a full set). The prices of the bottles are reasonable so I usually get a few to take back with me. Its a beautiful area, nice to relax. It doesnt matter how you are dressed so you can head there straight from the beach. Theres nothing fancy about it, just nice land and good wine.

You can taste some good wine and then buy some to take home. Shelburne Vineyard is a great local company...
