Fabulous staff, great mission, lots of animals to pet and chase, and a whole room full of farm-inspired toys. And you get to ride in a cart behind a tractor to get to the barns. What's not to love? Know that it's all open to the outside, so if it's chilly dress warmly.

I enjoyed the wagon ride up to the farm. We arrived later in the day and got to help put the chickens inside. We didn't have a lot of time so I would definitely want to return when we can spend more time.

There is a great little gift shop, acres of land, and a massive, beautiful barn. There are many farm animals; we got to see cute piglets feeding with mother. There are walking trails with beautiful views and landscape. You can see cheese making, take a tour, walk around on your own, or partake in planned activities. A farm shuttle takes you from the gift shop to the big barn. Lake Champlain is behind the property.

Had a fabulous afternoon at Shelburne Farms. Daughter got to milk a real live cow, pet chickens and look for eggs in the coop, see baby pigs, donkey, baby cows, sheep, goats and rabbits. IT was also tractor day so she could sit on tractors and other machines. The farm grounds are really like a huge estate and very beautiful. There are trails you can walk and we saw people running there too. It was an extremely pleasant and beautiful afternoon for all of us.

Beautiful trails for walking. Great views of the lake. Fields with cows and sheep are all around. The buildings are huge, historic and well taken care off. There is so much more to explore.
