We were given a very warm welcome and shown to the Loft Room behind a secret door - lovely. It was also adjacent to the back door to the car park, making it easy to move luggage (we don't travel light!). Lovely big room with a canopy king bed, a sofa in front of a gas fire, two rocking chairs and loads of luggage space - and a private deck area. The bathroom is big, with a double sized whirlpool bath and tons of space for stuff. Elemis toiletries supplied, though not replaced. There were spare sockets next to the bed, lots of candles and low lights. No TV or phone but a good wifi internet connection. The lack of blinds or window coverings could be a problem in summer months if you are a light sleeper.
Dinner: excellent service and good food. Breakfast - good buffet and choice of two hot meals.

We were lucky to bag a room for 1 Friday night at the last minute. The innkeepers have more energy than you can imagine, and are wonderfully hospitable. Within minutes after our arrival, we had a tour of the inn, were introduced to the luscious afternoon treats from the pastry chef, and found our bags already installed in our room. The pond across the road had had some Irene-inflicted damage, but not enough to decrease the pleasure of a cool swim after a brief but sweaty hike in the hills. We didn't have dinner at the Inn but the breakfast was worth the wait. The only thing we didn't like was piped-in music--who needs that in the VT countryside?

My husband and I often eat at the Rabbit Hill on for our anniversary. For a price fix we enjoy an exceptional meal at a reasonable price. The chef is fantastic.

the welcome was friendly and warm. They did all they could to meet-exceed our needs! The inn is clean, well tended and the food is excellent! Bunnies are EVERYWHERE (except live ones!). The rooms have everything we can ever need. Their info center is full of interesting ideas of things to doin the area. We loved our stay.

My husband and I have been celebrating our wedding anniversary with the Rabbit Hill Inn of Lower Waterford, VT for about 18 years. Every June we look forward to our stay. The innkeepers, Leslie and Brian are the most warmest and caring professionals ever. The rest of the staff are amazing. This is the place to be for exquisite cuisine, rest, relaxation and a beautiful surrounding.
