The small museum located at the back of the Public Library is well worth a stop. The best known work is Bierstadt's painting of Yosemite, but there are several important paintings from Hudson River artists as well. A very helpful staff member took the time to explain the art, the history of the building, and a bit of the town's history as well. Eight dollars well spent if you are in the area. Afterwards stop in at the antique store to browse a bit, and grab a snack at Paddy Cakes, both just down the street.
