“Average breakfast. Nice restaurant.”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

We had paid for the breakfast option with our stay at the Holiday Inn. It was average. Nice people, decent food, and warm-cozy atmosphere.

“Food is terrible.”
Reviewed January 2, 2012

Food is terrible. Very industrial. No imagination. Standardly bad hotel food.

“The South May Rise Again”
Reviewed December 29, 2011

Although the food was possibly the worst food ever made by a human, the real terror of this "restaurant" is that it is controlled by the remnents of the army of Northern Virginia... They use the money they make from selling the overpriced food to fund a new confederate army, to have one last strike at the heart of the north and gain southern independence... Dont go here, please. They will kidnap you and hold you ranson just like they did with JFK's son. They are the real threat to america.

“The chef should be ashamed.”
Reviewed August 31, 2011

We had no choice but to eat here on the night Hurricane Irene hit here in Rutland. We walked over from the Hampton to this restaurant at the Holiday Inn. We should have gone to Taco Bell, which is junk food. If a place advertises that they specialize in prime rib, then they should make sure that it is special.
My husband ordered a rare prime rib which came out well done and cold!
We told the waitress, who took it away and came back with the same piece microwaved! She said that the chef told her that it was warm now.
I felt I needed to write this review. The place is awful. Avoid it even if you are staying at the hotel.
