“A wonderful hike in the mountains of Vermont”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

This is a very easy hike and good for adults and children. The paths look as if they are left to nature, but in fact seem well-maintained. The hike can take as long or as little time as you want. There are plenty of places to stop and admire nature in all its unspoiled beauty. We used to bring our children here and it seemed like a different experience every year, according to what age they were. There is ample parking, with more across the road if necessary. There is a cute country store going down the mountain from here, where you can get ice creams, drinks etc. One warning - this is a busy road so please be careful, especially with children!

“Interesting”

Liked the concept but could have done more with it. Facts about Frost and more linked poems, especially The Wood Pile.

“What a delightful place!”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

This is a lovely area - a nice, easy trail sprinkled with excerpts of Robert Frost's poetry. The trail is short (about a mile) but passes through some marshy area, woods, over a stream - a variety of environments. The first part of the trail is a wheelchair accessible loop. There are benches scattered throughout - a nice place to enjoy a view and meditate for a while.

“Gentle hike really brings the poetry to life”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

This easy walk is through some beautiful countryside. Some of the walk is on a raised boardwalk and would be fine for people with mobility issues. The walk passes through forest and meadows and the poems are chosen to reflect the views. Really enjoyable.

“Nice walk”

Nice pleasant stroll through the woods. This is a non challenging one mile walk with some of Frost's poems posted along the way. Great little stop on your travel.
