The Diner closes at 3.30pm and we arrived at 3.15pm and they kindly seated us and the staff did not rush us. The food was fantastic, especially the sweet potato fries and the staff were brilliant. Our hostess was absolutely lovely and so helpful and friendly. It was a nice, unique place to stop off on our road trip. Be sure to spend some time in the huge antique emporium next door. Such a great place to stop for some food, ice cream and shopping!

The "Farmers Diner" part of the name has been dropped, it is now called the "Quechee Diner" and it is well worth the stop. The restaurant is easy to see as you approach the fabulous Quechee River Gorge.
We were seated in the railcar section and we had a great waitress who was all smiles and very helpful.
My friend ordered the Club Sandwich with fries and I opted for the Monte Cristo with onion rings. Both sandwiches were freshly made and delicious. The onion rings were especially good, hand-made, not the frozen kind.
The menu offeres many breakfast and lunch options that are worth exploring on another trip.
Highly Recommended.

Food is OK "comfort food." If restaurant is busy, they will select from waiting line based on size of party. For example, if you are 15 bikers who know the owner, you're #1. If you are a party of three with children, take a hike!!!

Stopped to try breakfast, after giving up on them in their prior name/ownership. Turns out these are the same folks, re-opened under an new name. "A rose by any other name" still has absurd prices and perhaps the worst service in the whole area.

Dana's near by, and the Four Aces in West Lebanon (by far our favorite!) offer much better service and resonable prices for excellent food.

We ate in the railroad car part of the diner...cute and nostalgic sitting at the stools by the counter. Menu is basic, but I loved my grilled cheese. Local cheese on thick homemade bread. Prices are reasonable, service was OK, but felt like we were backseat to a family with kids.
