we were desperate for dinner on Labor Day weekend at 6 PM. They seated us in a pretty room all to ourselves, got us in and out quick--gourmet food for a reasonable price. Would definitely go back.

I was fortunate to dine at the Parker House Inn in Quechee VT last weekend with my family and friends. We had a truly wonderful experience. The inn was extremely busy on a beautiful Saturday evening. We sat inside since there were no tables available out. The waitstaff were very attentive. The salads were fresh and had fabulous combinations of flavor. The beef was accompanied by a heavenly sauce and was one of the best steaks I have ever enjoyed. The salmon was scrumptious with an interesting combination of flavors that complimented it perfectly. Just when we all thought the meal could not get any better... the desserts were just simply wonderful. The almond tart, the cheesecake, the sorbet and the carmel plate! Seriously... from beginning to end, this was an incredible meal. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents in our little village!

I had the Crispy Duck. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Duck that I've had in the past has been a bit chewy. This was tender and full of flavor. We started with an nice cheese plate and a very tasty French Onion soup. The soup had nice chunks of cheese floating in it. My wife was very happy with her salad.
The service was friendly and very good. They did a great job of accommodating our fussy 7 and 9 year old children.
We sat on their beautiful porch with a nice view.
We can't wait to go back and stay the night.

We ended up in this restaurant after we got three brush-offs from the fancy one next door. We couldn't have been happier. Food was excellent. We are all foodies and two of us are good home cooks, some with restaurant experience, so we appreciate good food. Our table ordered three appies and a main and couldn't complain about any of them. Even the oil for the bread was beautifully infused.

To top it all off, the meet and greet at the door was warm, and the service very professional. We sat out on the deck and even the weather cooperated. We'd driven to Quechee for the glassworks, but this experience topped it all and make the drive worthwhile.

Really pleasant dinner with family sitting on the porch on a beautiful evening--- all was well with the world. Good service, excellent space; we were a fairly large group and seemed to have almost everything on the menu, including a great cheese board. We had a very fairly priced Rhone red (can't recall what it was since wine list seems not to be on line, but well worth the price, which I'm recalling to be in the $28 range). Would return in a minute. Too bad you can't bottle days like that for use in February!
