We enjoyed the Simon Pearce demonstration on how they make their most famous Christmas Trees. We spent a great deal of time asking questions and learning about the process. The showroom and store had lovely glassware.

Thank goodness it was free to get in! It's a gorgeous area and a very interesting. If you are rich, you will love all of the beautiful pieces they have for sale, if you're poor (like us), well, you will enjoy seeing them make the glass (about 15 minutes) and looking at it. All we could afford was a small candy dish for $25.00. Still, very beautiful! I recommend that you at least visit! :)

You can stay as long as you like in their basement shop where a half dozen artisans are making all the glassware by hand. They are friendly and will answer all your questions while they are working. These guys are really talented. We stuck around for about 30 minutes watching them and asking questions. Great place to stop.

This business in Quechee, Vermont is a combination restaurant and retail store. Situated right on the river in an old wool mill, the view from the dining room is wonderful. We had lunch at the restaurant and then looked at all of the wonderful glass items for sale in the store. In addition, you can go downstairs and watch the craftsmen blowing glass a creating beautiful glassware of all sorts.

Our lunch was delightful. I had a "lamb burger" which I can honestly say I have never had before. It was excellent. The menu included salads, sandwiches, quiches and all kinds of entrees. Everything everyone in our group had was excellent.

We had a little trouble finding this place. It is off the main highway and the signs provided by the state of Vermont were inadequate. But, this is a place worth searching for.

Went to dinner with family and although it was expensive, it was well worth it! The view of the waterfall and covered bridge was beautiful. Service was exceptional from a restaurant of the caliber. Topped it off with a visit to the glass blowing downstairs. Menu is limited but food was fantastic! Would definitely go again for a special occasion.
