“Great food, High Quality, Beautiful Place”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

With a strong, creative menu of local & seasonal dishes, I could see myself going here often if I lived closer. We had an amazing meal where each piece, from the veggies and potatoes in my burger, down to the spicy curry sauce in the rice bowl, were very well executed.

The service, location, atmosphere, food...everything was excellent! I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through! For what you get, the prices are also quite reasonable!

“Fresh food.”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here for lunch based on the TA reviews. We looked at the menu outside and decided the turkey sandwich would be good for lunch. The menu had changed and there were no 'meat' sandwiches available for lunch. The grilled portobello/veg sandwich was delicious. The husband had a grilled cheese which had corn and tomato on it. He said his was good also. My sandwich was $14 which was a bit high with no side and sandwich was on the small size. There were some bakery items for sale at counter which also looked good.

“Exceptionally food with a continuously changing menu”

Get lunch or dinner here, you won't be disappointed. Portions are smallish, but if you order a few things you won't leave hungry.

“Wonderful Dinner and Excellent Service”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

We had dinner at the Gleanery on Wednesday, July 17th. We purchased a bottle of wine from the store across the road because the restaurant is BYOB. The young woman who was our server was delightful and efficient. The menu was fairly simple, not too many choices (not necessarily a bad thing). We chose from the starters and medium sized menu items. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable. We don't get up to Vermont too often but will definitely visit the Gleanery again on our next trip.
