We went for breakfast, and the food was fantastic... however, the service was mediocre at best. The owner was the server, and his personality was gruff, and he was less than attentive, considering we were the only ones there. I'm not sure if I'd go back.

Ambiance - quiet Staff - friendly and prompt service Food - Exceptional!!!

They do not put out a color brochure that you will find in the cubby holes or on the table of Vermont accomodations. The volunteer at the visitors center hands you a paper flyer, winks at you and says "you should go here".

Believe them.

So glad we decided to try this little secret gem! The atmosphere is absolutely adorable! Very "country cute" & homey! Family run by very nice people & definitely worth the wait for a table (pretty small place) and your food...everything made from scratch!

Everything on the menu sounds delicious and you'll have a hard time choosing! Many different flavors of pancakes beyond the usual like blackberry banana or peach & blueberry cobbler. The cinnamon bun pancakes are to die for! Yummy summer veggie omelette, strawberry cream cheese French toast. The list goes on & on! Homemade lemonade makes for a tasty half & half (Arnold Palmer). Lots of baked goods in every flavor imaginable.

Service was friendly and efficient. We had a nice time chatting with our waiter, who I assume is an owner. Laid back country style here, so don't come if you're in a rush or impatient.

Prices are on the higher side for a small town, but portions are very large & hearty. We left stuffed! Wish this place was in the Boston area!

If your ever in Vermont and near the Ludlow area this is a must visit if your a breakfast fan. Not often that you go to a breakfast place and need to make decisions on what to try and this place will test your decision making process. Great service,Great portions and over the top offerings. I just had Strawberry waffles with a Strawberry Rhubard crisp with homemade whip cream that was to die for last week. Family run and worth the wait and drive. Enjoy !! I always do.
