My husband and I traveled to the Ludlow, VT for his recent birthday. We were out riding around and were looking for Camp Plymouth State Park. On our way, we saw signs for the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site. There were several buildings to visit, including the summer White House; the Coolidge homestead, where Coolidge was sworn in after the death of Pres. Harding. There was also the cheese company where you could watch cheese being made, a gift shop and also barns with carriages and other items from the Coolidge family. Also an interactive display and many interesting pictures of the President and his family. The grounds were gorgeous! The docent who took around was extremely knowledgeable and answered many questions the group had. Well worth the trip! No cell phone reception out in the country, but it's nice to get away from them anyways.
