“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

A typical visit here consists of an informative, thorough, and fairly well done self-guided tour of the maple-syrup-making process and industry, an informative historical video, and a visit to the moderately sized but impressive gift shop. The people here are friendly and obviously lovingly devoted to the New England (especially Vermont) maple business, making it easy to spend time and buy gifts here. Well worth a visit.

“Worth stopping to learn about Maple Syrup”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Attracted by the colourful and magnificent display of pumpkins, flowers and scarecrows we turned around and went back to take pictures. Wary of paying to go into a museum in a shop, we were pleasantly surprised. You get a comprehensive tour through the history of maple syrup harvesting in Vermont and a complete guide to the process, including an informative video. Well worth the money despite initial appearances. You can sample the various grades of syrup as you leave. The shop itself is a temple to maple syrup which made you wish the ban on liquids on airlines had been lifted. We risked a well wrapped bottle in our hold luggage and got it home safely. The staff in the shop were friendly and helpful. All in all we were glad we stopped.

“great overview of process, good store”

Not a curated museum, but well done nonetheless. Was delighted to find such a wide assortment of maple products for gifts, at the best prices we saw during our trip.

“The Maple Sugar Process & History”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013

The store sells great Vermont maple (and other) products at reasonable prices. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The museum tells the maple sugaring story. If I in the area again I’ll stop but I won’t go out of my way.

“Good place to stop and sample”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

We stopped by to look around the store. We didn't go into the museum as it costs and we weren't that interested however, there is a room where you can sample a lot of produce. In fact some people were almost using this as lunch. Its a great place to look at local produce.
