Excellent, Vermont country food, very cool old wooden coolers, creative food options, wood stoves, all in a country setting!

Beautiful countryside from Rutland to Montpelier but if you don't want to stop in Killington, you need to plan for lunch. This is an excellent stop. Good menu, nice staff, interesting place. Not a lot of inventory but at least not a lot of tourist junk.
Good ham sandwich for me.

We just stopped here while on our way to Burlington. It has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. We purchased a couple of items in the grocery store area and we looked over the menu. It looks very good and we will give it a try next time we are passing this way. You just cannot say anything bad about all the country stores in Vermont! This is a great part of the country.
