My sister and brother in law came for a visit. He had worked and lived amongst Italians in Connecticut and I knew how much he loved their cuisine; so off we went. Susan, the Inn Keeper, met us at the door with a very friendly welcome and escorted us into their cozy dining room. As soon as we were seated, her husband, Chef Franco, served us Vermont water. The food was excellent with just enough attentiveness to slake our thirst for knowledge about the inn and their backgrounds and enough privacy to talk among ourselves. All the entrees sounded delicious and we got a variety to share. I usually order bolognese, but changed for linguine with cream sauce, garlic and sausage. Molto delisious. They even allowed me to exchange rigatoni for linguine. My husband had the bolognese and it was as delicious as any I've had. Very accommodating family style, family owned and operated restaurant. Prices comparable to other fine dining spots in the region.
